All cameras in this bundle use an 8.51-megapixel (MP) image sensor which makes the cameras capable of producing 4K Ultra HD video. With this sensor, you can capture critical details which can be useful for possible investigations, including distinct facial characteristics.

These cameras are four times more powerful than your neighbor’s 1080p cameras. The difference is vast, as these cameras sport an enormous 8.3 million pixels. In video surveillance, every detail counts, and the four dome cameras will not disappoint. They can give you a good amount of confidence to zoom further into the footage than the 1080p camera may otherwise be incapable of doing. Infrared Night Vision
Say goodbye to grainy nighttime video for good. Nocturnal security cameras are equipped with powerful LED bulbs that emit infrared light in the camera’s field of view. Invisible to the naked eye, but not to the camera, this infrared lighting will allow your security camera to see in complete darkness.
Color Night Vision (CNV™)
For an added level of nighttime protection, Nocturnal security cameras can also capture color footage, thanks to our state-of-the art Color Night Vision (CNV) technology. CNV brings extra details to light, such as the color of a car, a person’s clothes, and also provides better contrast for enhanced detection.
Enhanced security monitoring with HDR
Each of the cameras in this bundle use the latest High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology. High Dynamic Range technology is capable of finding the sweetest spot between the brightest and darkest points of an image to deliver high-quality footage. This results in optimized, highly-detailed security video in all sections of the frame.
Increased clarity in low-light settings
Another technology these white Nocturnals are equipped with is called 3D-DNR (digital noise reduction). As the name suggests, this technology is responsible for removing noise in low-light footage, as well as noise caused by motion blur. With 3D-DNR, the footage you get is crisp and clear, no matter what the circumstances.

Easy PoE installation
This 4K security camera system will be up and running in no time thanks to Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology. Each security camera only needs a single Cat5e ethernet cable to connect it to the NVR. This cable provides video transmission, power to the camera, a stable network connection, and installation flexibility up to 300ft (as the camera does not need to be plugged into a nearby power source).

Understanding PoE Technology
Reliable security-grade hard drive preinstalled
A 2TB security grade hard drive (expandable up to 8TB) comes preinstalled within this NVR. Designed to meet the high workload demands of continuous security monitoring, this heavy-duty hard drive can reliably record weeks (even months) of footage without taking a break. All recorded footage is then safely stored on the hard drive where only you can access it, so there are no surprise fees or monthly cloud subscriptions.
HEVC / H.265 compression
Both the cameras and the NVR use what is called High Efficiency Video Compression (HEVC) technology to compress video files into manageable sizes. Since this system produces large 4K Ultra HD footage, HEVC is particularly important. Although HEVC compresses larges files, there is no significant difference in video quality. This technology is particularly handy when accessing your cameras remotely since you don’t need large data transfer to view 4K video.
Area search
Find what you are looking for quickly with Lorex’s Area Search. Select an area of interest and automatically playback any video footage showing scene changes in that area. Ideal for doorways, drive ways, etc.
Regional motion zones
There may be certain sections in the camera’s field of view that you want to focus more on, such as the front door, garage or backyard. Create up to four custom motion zones for each camera and adjust the motion sensitivity to best suit your needs. That way, even the slightest movement near important areas, such as an entranceway, will trigger the camera and create a motion event, but inanimate objects like trees or bushes would need more significant movement in order to set off the motion detection.
Privacy masking
If there are certain areas in the camera’s field of view that you do not want recorded, you can block those sections using privacy masking. Simply use the NVR to outline the areas you want blacked out with a square or rectangle.

No Monthly Fees
There are absolutely no monthly fees associated with this security system. All video footage is safely stored on the security grade hard drive located within the recorder.
With or Without the Internet
Standalone camera systems do not need the internet to operate. However, an internet connection will be necessary if you wish to use a smartphone, tablet or computer to access features such as remote monitoring.

NVR Network Video Recorder
